Seminars on export and import procedures
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, in association with the Department of
Sri Lanka Customs, will hold a series of half day seminars on export and
import procedures in the Ground Floor Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber
of Commerce.
Often importers and exporters, even those with years of experience,
encounter unexpected issues that could be easily avoided. This seminar
organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce offers practical information
that will help protect your Company's interests and maximize your
opportunities in the global market place.
Session I will commence on September 3 (9 am - 12.30 pm) where Chief
Export Officer, Department of Customs, M. Ravindrakumar will give an
Introduction to the Department of Sri Lanka customs, goods valuation and
export procedures.
Session II will be on September 10 (9 am -12.30 pm) with J.A.D.
Perera, superintendent of customs where goods classification and
harmonised system and import procedures will be taken up.
Session III will take place on September 11 (9 am -12.30 pm) where S.
Anandaeswaran, Superintendent of Customs will take up Export
facilitation, Bonding and Entrepot Trade.
