Chile arrests US marine for child abuse

Chile: A US marine, crew member of the USS Makin Island helicopter carrier, anchored at the neighbouring Valparaiso port, was arrested on Monday after being caught with a minor in a hotel.

Police agents of that port reported that the crew member of the carrier, which was participated in naval exercises with Chilean units, is facing charges of child abuse that would be presented to the Chilean Navy to make it official today.
