Golden trophies for long service

The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) recently held a ceremony at its Colombo office to felicitate NGJA staff members who performed a long and commendable service.

NGJA Chairman and CEO Hasitha Tillekeratne said that he will give all possible privileges to the employees who did their maximum to minimize the threats that faced the gem and jewellery industry during the global economic downturn. The privileges will include foreign and local training for the staff, welfare allowances, sponsorship for sports and women's associations and presenting golden trophies to mark the exemplary service performed by the staff.
