Rehabilitation through education

World University Service of Canada officially launched this week a new five-year phase of its highly successful Project for Rehabilitation through Education and Training (PRET) that will be implemented with the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Training (MVTT). The project - PRET-Options - is co-financed by the Governments of Canada and Norway at a cost of Rs. 843 million.

PRET-Options will support MVTT's plan to improve the quality and coordination of vocational training delivery throughout the country.

"We are very pleased to begin WUSC's 20 anniversary year in Sri Lanka by launching this new phase of PRET with our partners at MVTT," said Peter Loan, WUSC Country Director, at the PRET launch.
