Kandamby to lead Sri Lanka 'A' team

Middle order batsman Thilina Kandamby will captain the Sri Lanka A team in their practice match against the touring Pakistan team on July 27 at the Welagedera Stadium in Kurunegala.

The team will also include two Sri Lanka discard players all rounder Farvez Maharoof and fast bowler Dilhara Fernando.

The Sri Lanka A team: Thilina Kandamby (captain), Chamara Kapugedera (vice captain), Upul Tharanga, Mahela Udawatte, Thisara Perera, Seekuge Prasanna, Kaushal Silva, Malinga Bandara, Muthumudalige Pushpakumara, Farveez Maharoof, Dilhara Fernando, Chanaka Welagedera and Milinda Siriwardena.

Officials: Anura Tennekoon (Manager), Sumithra Warnakulasuriya (coach), Ranjith Nanayakkarawasam (Physiotherapist), Mario Villavarayan (trainer), Priyantha Wickremasinghe (masseur), T. Niroshan (computer analyst), Nuwan Seneviratne (fielding coach).
