Udathalawinna Murder Appeal by five army personnel set aside their
conviction and the death sentence imposed by the Trial at Bar.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Upper
Kotmale Hydro Electricity scheme site on an inspection tour
yesterday morning. The President was accompanied by Ministers John

Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, Additional Secretary
