All set for Zahira rugby sevens

The rugby lovers will have the opportunity to witness some exciting action at the Longden Place when the Zahira Invitation Rugby Sevens kicks off at the CR and FC grounds today.

Defending champions Isipatana will face a strong challenge from S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia at the tournament which will see some handsome cash awards on offer.

The tournament is organized by the Group of Sixties of Zahira College and the principal sponsor is Harcourts Group of Companies with Diamond Food Products being the co-sponsor. Teams: Group A - Isipathana College, Dharmaraja College, C. W. W. Kannangara Vidyalaya, Group B - St. Peter's College, Vidyartha College, Prince of Wales College; Group C - St. Joseph's College, Zahira College; Carey College Group D - S. Thomas' College, Royal College, Panadura, St. Anne's College, Kurunegala. CW
