Funeral of Galle Opposition Leader today

The funeral of slain Galle Municipal Council Opposition Lader Dushantha Seneviratne will take place today at 4 p.m. at the Mahawatta Public Cemetery. The body is lying at his residence at Richmond City, Dangedara, Galle.

The remains will be brought to the Galle Municipal Council at 11.00 a.m. and it will be kept till 2.00 p.m., for public homage. Funeral rites would be administered at the public grounds near Dangedara Maha Vidyalaya, Galle at 2.30 p.m. prior to burial at 4 p.m. at Mahawatta Cemetery, Ambalawatte, Galle.
