Police unearth more arms

Police unearthed a stock of arms hidden by the LTTE in Valaichchenai area yesterday and also on Monday morning.

Acting on information a police team from Batticaloa had uncovered arms in Sithandi, Valaichchenai on Monday around 9.00 a.m.

Bombs weighing 20 kg, 2 kg and 1.5 kg with chargers and 43 anti aircraft ammunition were among the recoveries.
