Maga Neguma Emulsion Company completes five years

The fifth anniversary celebrations of the Maga Neguma Emulsion Private Company will be held today at 9.00 a.m. at Temple Trees presided over by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Minister T.B. Ekanayake and Deputy Minister W.B. Ekanayake will grace the occasion.

Chairman of the Emulsion Company B.R. Perera and staff members will present Rs. 10 million to President's Fund and Rs. one million to Api Wenuwen Api Housing Fund at this occasion.

This ceremony will be followed by an anniversary meeting at the factory premises at Angulana, Moratuwa at 11.00 a.m.

This Emulsion Company was restructured and put into operation under Maga Neguma concept from the rubble of machinery equipment belonging to the Road Construction and Development Company (RCDC) at Station Road, Angulana, Moratuwa which was closed down in December 2003 at the behest of the then UNP regime.
