Why do celebrities die young?
Michael Jackson's death keeps on bankrolling the Western media
business. His cardiologist made news because he was missing hot on the
heels of pop king's death. His relatives make news, because they have
demanded a second autopsy.
On top of everything, Jackson enters the lineage of celebrities who
had to die before their time. He joins famous celebrities such as
Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Going through endless stories about
Jackson's death, I stumbled upon something really fascinating; Michael
had a statue of Marilyn Monroe at his home, and he was married Elvis
Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

That makes us have a close look at this celebrity-trio who had shaken
up the world by their charm.
All three died more or less because of drug overdose. Isn't it ironic
these celebrities have got used to drugs, when we look down on poor folk
for their drug habits? They, for sure, suffered from depression. The
world can be so poor for them, or the they are not just happy with what
they have achieved. Contentment is a must in a happy life. That's why
they say money cannot bring happiness.
Marilyn Monroe was only 36 when she died at her home in Brentwood,
Los Angeles. She was found to have had eight mg percent of chloral
hydrate and 4.5 mg percent of Nembutal. Her autopsy's result was acute
barbiturate poisoning as a result of accidental overdose. This gave rise
to the speculation that Monroe committed suicide, while some had the
idea that the death was a part of a conspiracy.
Presley had developed many health problems during his life, some of
them chronic. Opinions are very much different on his drug habits.
He had consumed amphetamines in army in a regular basis. His personal
doctor Nichopoulos, has said: " Elvis felt that by getting pills from a
doctor, he wasn't the common everyday junkie getting something off the
street. He thought that as far as medications and drugs went, there was
something for everything."
Jackson was 50 when collapsed at his rented house at Los Angeles. In
his case Jackson is said to have been given Demerol before he stopped
breathing. His is said to be a cardiac arrest by the paramedics who
attended the scene.
Jackson has entered the Guinness book as the biggest philanthropist
celebrity. He raised millions of dollars by his foundations, charity
singles to support the needy. Jackson knew no boundaries in happiness
when he was free from child sexual abuse in 1993 for lack of evidence.
Yet something was worrying him.
All these celebrities had a personal physician: a psychiatrist for
Monroe, a physician for Presley and a cardiologist for Jackson. Still
none of them could save their clients. |
