Trinity 140 in 7.4 overs

Trinity College trounced Kegalle MV by eight wickets in an amazing run chase when they chasing a target of 140 in just 7.4 overs in their under 17 Division I cricket encounter played at Kegalle yesterday.

Kegalle MV innings was wrapped out for 139 when Tissa Sanjeewa (6 for 33) led a brilliant bowling attack for Trinity.

In reply, Kavinda Jayasinghe starred with 54 which included nine boundaries and three sixes which came in just twelve deliveries.

Kegalle MV: 139 all out in 37.3 overs (E. Thillakasiri 42, R. Ratnayake 22, Tissa Sanjeewa 6 for 33, K. Atugoda 2 for 21).

Trinity College: 140 for 2 in 7.4 overs (Niroshan Dikwella 35, Janishka Premasinghe 40, Kavinda Jayasinghe 54 n.o.)
