Gamini's photographs stun Athens



Gamini

Gamini Wasala a Sri Lankan domiciled in Athens in Greece held a photographic exhibition for the third time in succession recently.

The exhibition was sponsored by the Athens branch of the Sri Lankan Airlines.

Wasala was the one and only foreign national and the South Asian to represent the Hellenic Photographers Association and he has been engaged in photography as a hobby since he left the country for Greece in 1989.

He has a huge collection of photographs. Rare photographs of beautiful places in Sri Lanka and Italy have come through his lense.

Wasala has decided to hold the next exhibition in Italy or Dubai. He paid his gratitude to a numerous dignitaries including Consul General in Greece, Chief Incumbent of Buddhist Temple in Greece, SriLankan Air Lines Managing Director in Athens, President of the Hellenic Photographers Association, the President of Greece Dental University and Thailand Ambassador in Greece for their participation.
