Sokari drama 50th show

Sokari a drama approved for grade nine Sinhala subject and Grade 10,11,12 and 13 aesthetic subjects will stage its 50th show on June 17 at 8.00 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. at Elphinstone Theatre.

This old type of folk drama is made in accordance with modern stage but still emphasizing all tradition on prosperity and fertility of the country's ancient art.

The drama is directed by Presidential Award winner Jaliya Rajapaksha. State management is by Saman Gamini and music is by Shamila Rajapaksha. Jude Srimal is the chief organizer of the event.
