The talented and savvy actress Hiruni is definitely on her way to becoming a successful actress. Brimming with an out-going personality and a charismatic outlook, Hiru’s name is just like it suggests - a sunny character. Hailing from a rather business-minded family, ever since Hiruni was young, she knew she wanted to perform onscreen.

“I was obsessed with acting, dancing and performing which gave me the confidence to shine. I’m greatly acknowledge my family who has been supporting me all the way,” she said.

Landing in role in ‘Feel my Love’ alongside Kishani and Roshan Ranawana recently, she has also acted in supporting roles in the silver screen films.

“I have also acted in various teledramas, guest performed at major events and also danced at prestigious concerts,” she said.

Hiruni has also modelled and possesses strong features with her beautiful complexion.

“I hope people realise that it’s beauty from within and inner goodness that makes a person beautiful - we should always be happy with ourselves and be kind and charitable,” said Hiruni.

Speaking about the industry, she said, “You have to have a good head above your shoulders when working in the film industry since it can be difficult to maintain respect - especially for girls. However, it is a challenging career and I hope I’ll make it big one day”. She said that today’s industry is not easy since you have to know someone but once you’re in the industry, you shouldn’t give up due to the pressure.

“People will always try to bring you down because they are jealous but you should believe in yourself to overcome the obstacles,” she concluded.
