SLI - Benchmark of professionalism

The newly appointed Competent Authority of Sri Lanka Insurance, Dr Nalaka Godahewa said, it was President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s desire to manage Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) in a manner that it will be a benchmark for professionalism and efficiency, not only to the public sector but also to the private sector.

The President has strongly advised Dr. Godahewa not to allow any person to misuse public funds and the profits generated which will help the economic development of the country.

Since employees are also part of the public who will be the ultimate beneficiaries, the President requested maximum support from the staff to ensure customer satisfaction of the highest level and grow the business. Dr. Godahewa said that he will maintain discipline and no one should attempt to take the law into their hands during the transition period.
