Lake House enter final

Lake House footballers reached the final of Mercantile 'B' division when recorded a win in the semi-final against John Keells.

The first was a scoreless session and six minutes into the second half, experienced G. P. L. Karunaratne put Lake House in front. John Keells fought gallantly and found the equaliser with a minute left for the final blow and the game ended in a draw.

Referee ordered the tie breaker system from which the Newspapermen managed to net in three, while their opponents could find only two in their favour.
