Havelocks fight-back to beat Police - 27/13

Havelocks Sports Club produced a superb second half rally to beat Sri Lanka Police Sports Club by 27 points to 13 points in their SLRFU Caltex inter-club ‘A’ division league rugby tournament match worked off at Havelock Park yesterday.

The Havies who were trailing 5-13 at half time came back strongly in the second half and went on to turn the game in their favour while collecting their points through two goals, two tries and one penalty.

S. Jagoda scored two tries while R. Suranga and M. Badurdeen scored a try each for the winners with Weerakkody putting over the two penalties and also converting two tries. Police SC responded with two tries and one penalty.
