Minister Wijesekara to resume duties

Posts and Telecommunication Minister Mahinda Wijesekara in a message thanked the President, Cabinet Ministers, staff of the Health Ministry and directors and staff of the Colombo National and Sri Jayawardhanapura hospitals for ensuring him prompt healthcare and attention following injures sustained in the Godapitiya mosque terrorist suicide bomb explosion in Akuressa. He also thanked all friends, relatives and supporters who sent greetings wishing him well and quick recovery.

The Minister's press secretary Shanthasiri Wickramaratne said Minister Wijesekara who entered Sri Jayawardhanapura hospital for physiotherapy treatment after being discharged from the Colombo National Hospital left for home on June 2 after full recovery.
