Musaeus reign supreme in chess, badminton and table tennis

Musaeus College sportswomen did their school proud recently. The College under-19 team emerged champions at the National school games Western Province Chess Championships this year while the under-16 Badminton team came up with a superb performance to clinch the all Island schools' under -16 championship title. The under -16 shuttlers also emerged runners- up in the super A Division.

Meanwhile, the Musaeus under-19 Table Tennis team emerged champions at the Western Province Table Tennis National schools' Games 2009 when they beat Vishakha Vidyalaya 3-1 at the S. Thomas', Mt. Lavinia courts. The winning team was coached by P.D. Rathnasiri.
