Uva PC dissolved

The Government dissolved the Uva Provincial Council with effect from midnight yesterday. Uva Province Governor C. Nanda Mathew told the Daily News yesterday that he had dissolved the Uva Provincial Council with the powers vested with him under Article 154 of the Constitution.
