A man who shot at his father-in-law and his brother, later killed himself in sixth mile post, Kathankudi, yesterday.

Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said M. Suhajan, 36, gunned down his father-in-law U.L.M. Mubeen, 57, and his brother at their residence in old Kalmunai Road around 7.20 a.m.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident had occurred over a family dispute," SSP Gunasekera told the Daily News. A T56 rifle and two magazines were recovered from the scene. Kathankudi police are investigating. RJ
