Sudden raids net 50 suspects

Fifty suspects allegedly involved in a number of unlawful activities in Sevanagala area were nabbed during a sudden search operation.

Twenty five suspects distributing and selling 'kasippu' on a large scale were nabbed by Sevanagala Police.

Seven suspects in gambling dens were also taken into custody.

Suspects will be produced before the Embilipitiya Magistrate Courts.
