Uncertain Times - Opportunity or Challenge

Preparations for the Sri Lanka Economic Summit are now under way. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the forum, which will hold its technical sessions from July 1- 2 at the Cinnamon Grand, with the inauguration taking place on June 30 at the same venue.

The Summit organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce continues to attract eminent speakers, political leaders and diplomats for the technical sessions which tackle timely and helpful topics, complete with keynote speakers and panel discussions.

In the line up for this year's Sri Lanka Economic Summit, themed "Uncertain Times Opportunity or Challenge" is a number of stimulating topics, among which are:

"Impact of the Economy and Planning in a Downturn", Financial Crisis - Challenges for the Banking and Financial Sector, Agriculture, Fisheries and Dairy Sector - Opportunities for the private Sector, North East Accelerated Socio and Economic Development, Meltdown and Impact on Employment", Building on ICT and English Sri Lanka as a "Knowledge Economy", Governance: Challenges for the Public and Private Sector and 2020 Vision for Sri Lanka - A Discussion with young parliamentarians.
