Bid to promote table tennis in Jaffna

The newly-elected officials of the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka headed by the Minister of Urban Development, Rohana Dissanayake (President TTASL) have decided to promote table tennis in Jaffna after a lapse of several years.

Dr. A.H. Hazari, Chairman of Serendib Medicals (Pvt) Ltd who are the sole agents in Sri Lanka for STAG Equipment, has come forward to assist TTASL to promote table tennis in Jaffna.

\The Jaffna TTA has requested Chandana Perera, the General Secretary of the TTASL to conduct a Coaching Camp in Jaffna as an initial measure to promote and develop TT in Jaffna.

He has expressed his willingness to conduct this Coaching Camp in Jaffna in June 2009.
