Dinesh (106), Bhanuka (110) shine in drawn game
Two magnificent centuries from skipper Dinesh Chandimal (106) and
Bhanuka Rajapaksa (110) helped the Sri Lanka Under 19 team take major
honours in their two day warm up match against the Bangladesh Under 19
team which ended in a draw at the Krira Shikkha grounds in Savar, Dhaka
yesterday.
Opener Chandimal struck 106 from 157 deliveries inclusive of 16
boundaries while Rajapaksa went on to make a top score of 110 before
retiring after having hoisted four sixes and 16 boundaries.
The Sri Lanka Under 19 team went on to pile up 369 runs after having
bundled out the home side for 197 in the first innings where Madushan
Ekanayake and Matheesha Perera captured three wickets each.
