[In short]
'Love in Strokes'
Harshini Perera, the girl who made a huge impact through her role in
Udayakantha Warnasuriya's Hiripoda Vessa, unveiled another side of her
gift for art through 'Love in Strokes', an exhibition of paintings and
jewellery designs held at the Lionel Wendt recently.
The exhibition comprised many images taking shape out of dazzling
diamonds and other precious stones embedded into the canvas. Watercolour,
charcoal, oil paintings and black and white sketches were also a part of
the event along with a few paintings by her one year old son, Aakesh.
The guest of honour was Harshini's grandmother, Grace Rodrigo.
