Prabhakaran is today fighting our security forces using barbaric
tactics. Our war heroes are fighting the terrorists with zero casualties
to the civilians trapped in the war zone, said the Chief Minister
Southern Provincial Shan Wijelal de Silva.
He said forces would have annihilated the terrorists long ago if they
also resorted to the barbaric methods of Prabhakaran. But our war heroes
are fighting only terrorists.
The Chief Minister said no ruler during the past thirty years could
eradicate terrorism from our soil. But terrorism will be wiped out in a
short time under the regime of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

unsuccessful as a result.

Ministry of Industries of the Southern Provincial Council. But we were
able to reverse that sad plight and today the Ministry of Industries of
the Southern Provincial Council is earning millions of rupees as profit.

time the development programs in the country are taking place at a
tremendous pace. The results of the recent elections to Provincial
Councils have shown that the people have endorsed the policies of
President Mahinda Rajapaksa's regime. The Chief Minister said our
