Islamic program on SLBC

The proceedings of Prophet Mohammed's birthday celebrations and the commemoration in honour of Quthubul Aqthab Ghousul A'lam Raliallahuanhu Qaddasallahu Sirrahul Azeez which will be held at the Maradana Jumma Mosque, Colombo 10 on April 18 at 3.45 p.m. will be broadcast live over the SLBC national service (Thaseya Savai).

Deniyaya Central College OPA

The Annual General meeting of the Colombo Branch of the Old Pupils' Association of Deniyaya Central College will be held today, April 18, 2009 at Mount Mary Community Hall, Railways Department, Baseline Road, Dematagoda from 9.30 a.m.

Colombo Chetty Assn Sports Day

The Colombo Chetty Association of Sri Lanka will hold its annual Sports Day celebrations on April 19 from 8.30 a.m. at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium.

The highlight of the program will be the six-a-side cricket tournament for men, women, and children (below 14 years), Netball tournament, Tug-O-War, etc.

The cricket tournament is open only to members of the community and their families.
