Finance and Guarantee directors restrained

The Colombo Additional Magistrate Giyan Ranawaka yesterday directed the Controller of Immigration and Emigration not to allow the eight directors of Finance and Guarantee Real Estate Company to leave the country without prior permission of the Court.

The Court made this order after the lengthy submissions by Attorney Sisira Kumara Siriwardena who appeared with Attorney Chamila Premadasa for the complainant Amalka Wijesuriya of Maharagama.

Counsel Siriwardena submitted to court that there is a possibility that the directors of this company would leave the country and moved court to impound their passports and inform the Controller of Immigration and Emigration.

The Magistrate directing the Controller of Immigration and Emigration not to allow these directors leave the country and ordered the directors of the company to appear before Court on May 15.
