Venezuela for Global currency
Venezuela: A single global currency would strengthen peoples
independence and genetically provide for a multipolar world with equal
conditions for all, the Venezuelan government has claimed.
A note released by the Venezuelan Ministry of Communication and
Information emphasizes that the current crisis is weakening the United
States, thus making it necessary to create alternatives with an
international currency. It recalls the Russian initiative supported by
China that this "super currency" is proposed as a global unit of
exchange with support of real assets and does not depend on any one
nation.
Substitution of the dollar as the hard currency that rules the
peoples of the world, adds the report, could satisfy the need to abandon
uni-polar concentration of power and decisions.
According to the evaluation the shaken neoliberal capitalist system
is a sign that the peoples are awakening and working towards a fair
system open to a multipolar world.
The Venezuelan position warns that the responsibility of calculating
the asymmetry of each nation depends on the governments because, due to
the economic and social and cultural difference, they cannot be applied
in the same manner.
