SAARC parley today

Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickramanayaka will deliver the key note address at the SAARC Higher Education Ministers' conference at the Hilton Colombo today.

Higher Education Minister Wishwa Warnapala will present a policy paper on Higher Education to be implemented in the SAARC region.

The conference will discuss the policy document presented by Prof. Warnapala who said that it would open a new chapter in the relations among the South Asian countries.

SAARC Secretary-General Dr. Sheel Kant Sharma will also attend the meeting and deliver a special lecture. (LDS)
