Peterites win by 22 runs

St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya scored a 22-run win over
Dharmaraja College, Kandy in their inter-school under-19 limited overs
cricket tournament match played at University Ground, Peradeniya
yesterday. This was a replay of the match which was on Tuesday at the
same venue after rain had washed off play with only one innings being
completed with the Peterites took first strike and scored 191 all out in
44.1 overs with Shivraj Ranasuriya being the top scorer making 46.
Medium pacer Tharindu Dandeniya captured 4 for 21.
When the Rajans batted there was rain and they were set a revised
target of 117 in 20 overs under the parabola formula. They scored 91 for
6 in 20.1 overs leaving Peterites winners by 22 runs.
St. Peter's: 191 all out in 44.1 overs (Shivraj Ranasuriya 46, Angelo
Perera 21, Arshu Fernando 38, Ashan Wickremasinghe 19, Tharindu

deliveries to lead St. Joseph's College to a convincing 79 run victory
over Trinity College Kandy in their Munchee inter school knock out
limited overs cricket tournament match worked off at Darley Road
