Swimming meet of All Nation College
Mahanama VITHANAGE Malwana Group Corr.
The annual inter house swimming meet of All Nation International
College, Bollatha - Ganemulla will be held on Friday, March 20,
commencing at 9.00 a.m. at the College Swimming Pool.
The chief guest will be Biyagama Swimming, Diving and Life Saving
Association Chairman Hemakumara Gunasekara and Vocational Swimming
Coaching Association Chairman W.G. Gunaratne.
Two hundred students will participate at the meet.
This swimming meet is organised by the college swimming Advisor
Thilak Ratna Kumar.
Sports meet of Asoka Vidyalaya

The annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Asoka Vidyalaya, Kandy will be
held at Bogambara Stadium, Kandy on March 24 at 9.00 a.m. under the
patronage of Principal Lt. Col. Leonard M. de Alwis.

Shevodi Perera of Ave Maria Convent, Negombo was adjudged the Gampaha
District Chess Champion on the under ten category, during the year 2008.
In this age category Shevodi Perera during the other chess championship
held during the year was adjudged as champion and runner-up. Grade 4
under 10 - year 2008 Gampaha District Association Chess Champion and
Best of Board 1. Gampaha District Junior Chess Champion Sri Lanka School
Chess Association - Best Board Prize Negombo Division Chess Tournament -
champion. In the years 2006 and 2007 Shevodi Perera participated in
chess tournaments in the under 8 and under 9 categories and became
champion or runner-up in various tournaments. In all Shevodi Perera has
won seven gold medals, five silver medals, and one bronze medal during
