MCA over 40 sixes on Saturday

The MCA Annual Over - 40 'Sixes' 2009 will be held on March 22 at the MCA ground, commencing 8.30 am. Access Group has come forward to sponsor the event for the first time and will also be fielding two strong teams.

The other teams expected to participate are John Keells Group (2008 runners-up), former winners, Singer Sri Lanka, Airport & Aviation and HNB, Janashakthi Group, Informatics, Aitken Spence Group and Hayleys Group RC. Sri Lankan Airlines the defending champions will be a notable absentee this year. The event had to be postponed on two occasions, March 1 & 15 due to lack of entries most probably the tournament clashing with the School's 'Big' Matches.

The tournament is open to all Senior Citizens of the MCA with healthy minds and healthy bodies, born before 1969. (must be over 40 as at January 31, 2009).
