Saints battle on Saturday

The Battle of the Saints 1973 Big Match will be played on 21st March (Saturday) at Darley Road commencing at 10 in the morning.

This will be a 20-over per side game. St. Joseph's will be led by Ranjan de Silva whilst Gamini Goonesena will lead the Peterites. Prior to the begining of the match there will be a memorial mass at St Joseph's College Chapel in memory of late

Gary Melder Captain of St. Joseph's 1973 team, Trevor Croner, Anura Eliyathambi, Ranjith Senaratne and also in memory of Mike Chanmugan who coached the Peterites in 1973.
