Thomians overall champions

The Swimmers from S. Thomas’ College, Mt Lavinia became overall Boys champions at the Age Group Relay Championships 2009 after a lapse of 7 years. This event was conducted by the Interim Committee of Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union and was held at the Sugathadasa stadium last weekend.

Thomians collected 154 points to take the boys title while last years champions St. Joseph’s College finished second with 124 points and Ananda College third with 107 points. The Thomian Junior team collected 91 points while the Senior STC team collected the balance 63 points.
