SM Leasing gains

The indices at the CSE declined as the ASPI shed 13 points (-0.8%) to close at 1,620 while the MPI lost 18 points (-1%) to close at 1,680. Turnover for the day was Rs 54 million, coming mainly from SM Leasing, which closed up at Rs 17.75 on turnover of Rs 12.6 million. Ceylon Hospitals, which own and operates Durdans Hospital, contributed Rs 4 million to turnover. The share closed up at Rs 52.00.
