Warakapola Hospital gets four-storeyed complex

The Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates has agreed to
construct a four-storeyed complex of wards in Warakapola Base Hospital.
Construction of this ward complex with 150 beds will cost about Rs.
200 million and the Red Crescent Society will bear the expenses, said
Minister of Labour and Manpower Athauda Seneviratna. The well-equipped
and Modern Ward Complex would reduce the rush in the hospital.
President of the Red Crescent Society and former Minister of Labour
in UAE Abdulla Ali Abdulla and other representatives paid a visit to the
hospital, which is situated by the Colombo-Kandy highway, renders a
great service to improve health of public in the Dedigama electorate.
