Poverty alleviation project

A special plan has been drawn up by the NECCDEP to develop 29 selected villages in the Ampara district.

This poverty alleviation project was funded by the ADB. The main objectives of this program is to alleviate the poverty of the people who were affected by war and poverty.A sum of Rs. 50 million has been allocated for this purpose DDP - I.U. Thowfeek said.
