Dalada exposition extended by a day

The special public exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa has been extended by another day till March 17 to cater to the large crowds visiting Kandy to pay homage, Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela Bandara said. Earlier the exposition was due to conclude on March 16.

He said over 700,000 devotees have paid homage to the Sacred Relics during the last six days braving the rains experienced in the area.

The exposition times are 1 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. daily and it would be most befitting for devotees to line up early dressed in white, he said.
