TNT Express moves to new office
TNT Express, one of the world's leading Air Express Delivery
Companies moved into its new office at Galle Road yesterday.
TNT has been represented in Sri Lanka by Ace International Express
for the past three decades. Ace International Express is a member of The
Aitken Spence Group of Companies and also represents Spring Global Mail,
the world's largest private B2B mailing solutions provider as well as
Ace Express, a leading domestic delivery company that has been in
operation for the past 20 years.
"This spacious new facility allows TNT to enhance its processes to
further improve on their service delivery to customers. A better
environment and the right tools will enable TNT staff to proactively
provide customers with better solutions in the future" said the Vice
President of Aitken Spence Cargo and Country Manager of TNT, Mohan
Perera.
TNT was set up in 1946 in Australia by Ken Thomas with a "fleet" of
one single truck. In the following years, they have grown to having over
43 aircraft and 26,000 ground vehicles.
