Exposition of tooth relic to be extended

The Mahanayake Theras of the Asgiriya and Malwatte Chapters along with the Diyawadana Nilame yesterday decided to extend the proposed special exposition of the tooth relic of the Buddha till March 19 as thousands of devotees are expected to throng the Dalada Maligawa.

Earlier, the Mahanayake Thera and the Diyawadana Nilame planned to hold the special exposition of the tooth relic from March 6 to 16.

The special exposition of the tooth relic will begin at 1. p.m on March 6 after a lapse of five years.
