Korea to help Lanka's nuclear, green energy
Korea will assist Sri Lanka to develop its nuclear and green energy,
natural resources, information and communication technology sectors,
said Korean Ambassador Choi Ki Chul.

He said Korea has achieved a miraculous economic development over the
past decades through difficult conditions.
Even in the absence of large natural resources Korea had placed
emphasis on the development of its human resources.
Korea is willing to share those experiences with Sri Lanka by
assisting and cooperating with Sri Lanka towards strengthening the human
resources development sector, he said.
He said that Korea was eager to expand cooperation in the nuclear and
green energy, natural resources, information and communication
technology sectors by commencing joint venture projects in Sri Lanka, he
said.
He was addressing the executive committee meeting of the Association
of the Koika Fellows (AKOFE) in Sri Lanka.
He said that he expects the support of the AKOFE members who are an
active group leading Sri Lanka's economic progress and transformation to
do more to widen the scope of reciprocal relations and trade between
Korea and Sri Lanka. LSAW. |
