Ratmalana Hindu College to receive Rs. 17m building

The Minister of Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development and the General Secretary of Ceylon Workers' Congress Arumugan Thondaman has taken measures to upgrade the educational standards of students of the Ratmalana Hindu College who faced hardships of continuing their education due to the lack of a two storey building at the school.

The minister has came forward with this initiative which is crucial to the students to develop their knowledge so that they could live with equal rights and dignity among other communities and allocated Rs. 17 million to construct the new two storeyed school building for the benefit of students in the school.

The expectations and goals of the students will be fulfilled due to the new construction and will facilitate the higher education of the 800 students who are learning in the school. 58 years of dreams of the ancestors of the School who dreampt of developing the school will thus be realized.
