Rs. 4 million for Kaduwela Sri Somananda Vidyalaya

Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development Minister and General Secretary of Ceylon Workers Congress Arumugan Thondaman has decided to promote the educational standard of the students of the Kaduwela Koratota Sri Somananda Maha Vidyalaya who faced by the shortages of the essential equipment of the school office to carry out the official work.

The Minister has allocated Rs. 4 million to reconstruct the school playground, school lavatory and also provided a loudspeaker, photo copy machine and fax machine to the students at the function held at the Koratota Kaduwela Sri Somananda Vidyalaya school premises on February 17.

Over thousand students at the Koratota Kaduwela Sri Somananda Vidyalaya school have been facing various predicaments to carry out their sports activities as the playground was in a bad state for past few years and they have benefited by these development projects which was implemented by the Ministry under the patronage of the Minister.
