Major Gen. Palitha to head AASL

Major General Palitha Fernando and Prema Pinnawala will be elected as President and Secretary uncontested of the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka .

The Annual Genaral meeting will be held on 27th evening at The Athletic Association Head office at colombo 7. Seven officials are contesting for Vice presidency.[Six post] -Brig R P Liyanage, Col Sudath Madugalle, Anil Weerasinghe,G L S Perera, T M Devendran, P H D Waidyatilake and Candana Ekanayake. Former Treasurer M K W S De Silva and Chandana Ekanayake[Kandy District Athletic Association will be con testing for the post of Treasurer.

Former Deputy Secretary Yasarohna De Silva and Palitha Jayatilake[KegallDistrict Athletic Association are contesting for the Deputy Secretary Title. H.A.U. Upali selected un contested for the post of Deputy Treasurer. And P P U Saman kumara for the post of Hon Recorder.
