Air Force destroys Sea Tiger facility

Air Force fighter jets destroyed a cleverly camouflaged Sea Tiger facility, north of Mullaitivu lagoon yesterday morning, which housed a large number of boats, trailers, tractors etc. Spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.

He said air raids were launched around 7.00 am yesterday after closely observing the target for some time, prior to the attack. According to Nanayakkara the entire facility at Wellamullawikkal, north of the Mullaitivu lagoon was destroyed in the attack launched by MIG-27 fighter jets.
