Air Force smash LTTE targets

Air Force fighter jets in a series of aerial attacks destroyed an LTTE communication center and a command center of an area leader in Puthukudiruppu last morning.

Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said Air Force Kfir jets conducting fresh air raids pounded an LTTE communication centre 1.5km north of Puthukudiruppu junction and a command centre of the area leader, 1.5km north east of Puthukudiruppu junction around 10.10 am.
