Top of the world : Muttiah Muralitheran yesterday broke the world record for the most number of wickets in One Day Internationals, during the fourth ODI against India at the Keththarama International Stadium yesterday. His tally now stands at 503 overtaking the haul of legendary Pakistani pacie Wasim Akram. Murali is now the holder of both the Test and One Day world records for the highest wickets. The record was broken at 6.05 p.m. when he had Indian batsman Gautham Gambir caught behind.
